The purpose of this project was to build a new health and well-being centre at 38 St Patrick's Road, Saul, including fitness equipment
St Patrick’s GAC has been a fixture of sporting life in Saul since 1928 and was eager to contribute materially to improving the quality of life in Saul and surrounding rural areas. To that end they approached Down Rural Area Partnership for funding to build a health and well-being centre in Saul that would be open for use to the local community.
Funding from DRAP enabled St Patrick’s GAC to build a new health centre and purchase exercise equipment.
