In order to continue to expand their current customer base and range of products / services, the ongoing expansion of Spence Engineering requires investment in new production and manufacturing capital. Therefore they successfully applied to Lagan Rural Partnership for grant assistance.
Spence Engineering is a family run business founded in 1961 and located outside Hillsborough. They manufacture high quality excavator buckets for machines ranging from 1 to 75 tons and excavator related equipment. The business is committed to providing a high standard of product quality and customer service together with delivery and emergency back-up, supplying markets throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland.
The applicant received funding for the following
