PROJECT SUMMARY

The applicant is confident he has a site that may be the potential location for the installation of a Hydro System which in turn would provide additional income for the farm business to sell electricity back to the grid. He sought funding from SOAR to complete a feasibility study on the river and surrounding areas.

• To complete a feasibility study to include Hydrological Measurement & Flow Model / Site Topographical Survey / Creation of plans for development / preparation of planning application / preparation of licence application / preparation of planning & environment statement / preparation of construction method statement / preparation of NIEA monitoring plan / preparation of DCAL fisheries exemption application / Submission of Planning Application / NIE Network Connection & Capacity Study / Construction Detailed Drawings by 30 April 2014.
