Capital works to improve facilities at an equestrian centre.
Based outside Randalstown, Paul MacKenzie and his wife Karen have been involved in the equine industry all their lives and have developed their pastimes, business interests and family around their love of horses, establishing the equestrian centre in 1998.
Paul received funding under Axis 3, through GROW South Antrim to resurface an outdoor paddock, improve parking facilities and plant screening in the form of trees and shrubbery. The improved facilities have enabled the business to provide a better service for their customers, enhancing the visitor experience and encouraging them to return.
The funding from GROW has helped the business to meet and satisfy customer demands, facilitating competitors from Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and England. The promoters recently hosted their first registered show, attracting over 300 entries.
