MCM Sheds and Engineering is owned by David McMurray and has been in operation of 4 years and employing 5 staff. It is located on the family farm which is a 130 acre dairy farm owned by Davids father. The farm business was not generating sufficient income so David started erecting agricultural buildings. The business supplies a range of products to the agricultural market including specialised trailers, meal bins, cow cubicles, gates and shed doors aswell as agricultural sheds.

Prior to the funded project the manufacturing process was very time consuming and the promoter was working to full capacity and still unable to meet demand. The equipment purchased allowed him to cut out the middle man and manufacture the items inhouse which helped to reduce costs and delivery, speed up processing time and increase the numbers of orders that could be processed.
