The construction of a warehouse in which to store current and new equipment and which is also used as a storage facility and for the sorting, grading and stocking of recycled material.
Based between Kilkeel and Cranfield, Mark Skips is a Father and Son partnership which was established 14 years ago by the applicant’s father. It is a skip hire and recycling facility which is hoping to increase its scope and in turn, increase sales.

It is a partnership and the only people working in the business are the applicant and his Father. Not only does the company provide a recycling and compacting facility but they also conduct ‘lifts’ for commercial operations in the area which has proven to be their unique selling point.
The business is now a well established in the Newry and Mourne District Council area and also carries out work across the Down District Council area.
