The applicant’s have sought SOAR funding for play equipment, other essential items and garden equipment to enhance outdoor play at Ark Daycare Nursery.
The Ark Daycare Nursery situated on the Breagh Road, Portadown wanted to maximise their outdoor space to its full potential and allow the children to learn from their outdoor experiences.
They wanted to maximise their outdoor space to its full potential and create a sensory garden and vegetable patch, and contain the space but wish children to learn from outdoor experiences and offer good educational toys and resources. All of the items funded are integral to the project start up.
The project will benefit the local children attending the Daycare Facility. It will also allow children to learn from their outdoor experiences.
The project is hoping to achieve an income of £210,495 by September 2011 and then increase income to £308,230 by September 2012.
