The aim of this project was to appoint a specialist consultant to undertake a technical study into the tourism and educational potential of the unique collections at Grey Point Fort.
Grey Point Fort is a wartime relic built on the mouth of the Belfast Lough. Originally designed to protect from enemy invasion, it is now a fascinating military museum. The Friends of Grey Point Fort sought funding to appoint a specialist consultant to undertake a study into the care, development and promotion as a tourist attraction of the unique collection of military radios and memorabilia.
Funding from DRAP allowed the applicant to appoint a specialist consultant to carry out a series of technical studies into the Grey Point Fort collection.
