To appoint an appropriately qualified and competent consultant to undertake a Village Development plan to identify projects for developing Clanvarghan village and surrounding area.
Drumaroad and Clanvarghan Community Association (DCCA) are a small rural area based between Castlewellan and Ballynahinch, County Down. The community association was established in 1999. DCCA are keen to utilise a strategic approach to the development of potential project in the local area, and feel that by devising a Village Plan projects can be prioritized and initiated.
To develop a comprehensive Village Plan fully involving all residents and stakeholders in the community throughout the consultation process.
The project has helped to identify projects that will develop the village of Clanvarghan.
