To install a wood biomass district heating tem and a photovoltic tem to Tory Bush Self-Catering complex.
David Maginn is a sheep farmer who also owns and manages Tory Bush Cottages, a complex of ten self-catering cottages and conference facilities. The complex had always been managed on strong environmental principles, but as technology has advanced since the cottages were built Maginn believed there were advances to be made. He decided to shift away from the reliance on fossil fuels and use renewable energy as a means of heat and power at Tory Bush.
Funding from DRAP enabled David Maginn to install renewable energy generators at Tory Bush cottages, creating a community heating tem for the complex and lowering the sites carbon footprint.
