The aim of this project was to purchase a range of play equipment, play furniture, storage and IT equipment to safeguard and sustain play group places in Castlewellan Play Group.
Castlewellan Community Playgroup runs an ‘Early Years’ playgroup in Castlewellan Community Hall. Due to limitations of the space they had available, the range of outdoor activities they could offer was limited. So they approached DRAP for funding to develop an outdoor play area with a range of equipment. They also invested in IT equipment that both the children and staff could use.
Funding from DRAP allowed the Castlewellan Community Playgroup to purchase IT and playground equipment.
