The aim of this project was 'to market and promote Ardglass as a heritage village with two main themes, built heritage and fishing'.
Ardglass Development Association CP Ltd applied for funding to address one of the recommendations in Ardglass village Plan: 'to market and promote Ardglass as a heritage village with two main themes, built heritage and fishing’. They did this by renovating buildings, adding signage, and beautifying the area. They also renovated and refurbished the 'Everyone Club' premises in Bath Street to provide a tourist information point.
Funding from DRAP enabled the Ardglass Development Association to renovate local buildings, add adequate signage, beautify the area, purchase furnishings and office equipment.
