Social Farming Seminar

The Rural Network for NI is organising a seminar on Social Farming as follows:

DATE:  Tuesday 17th August 2010
TIME:  2.00pm - 4.00pm
VENUE:  Signal Centre, Bangor followed by a study visit of Growing Connections Care Farm    (www.growingconnectionsproject.org.uk)

The seminar is targeted at representatives involved in the delivery of the NI Rural Development Programme Axis 1, 2 and 3 and will aim to increase awareness of the Social Farming concept, both in terms of research conducted, and experiences both within Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Limited places are available and allocated on a 'first come first served' basis.  For further information please contact the Rural Network.  Closing date for registrations is Wednesday 11th August 2010.
