EU Commission workshops at the Ploughing Championships

The annual National and European Ploughing Championships will take place once again this year in Fennin Farm in Athy, Co. Kildare.

The Championships begin on Tuesday 21st of September to Thursday 23rd September with the European Championships on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd.

This year the European Commission will host a series of workshops and presentations on Irish projects and initiatives, co-financed by the EU.

The workshops and presentations will follow the three themes Bio-Energy, Rural Development and Organic Farming, with one theme being explored on each of the three days.
