Rural Network NI joins Facebook

The Rural Network for Northern Ireland has become a member of Facebook.

Facebook alone has more than 400 million users around the world, and is growing everyday. European countries make up around a third of this number and in order to capitalise on the possibilities offered for rural areas the Rural Network has now established a Facebook page.

The Rural Network was also represented at a 'Social Media for Public Stakeholder Engagement' seminar hosted by the Consultation Institute which took a closer look at the power of Social Media.
