LAG members enjoy first Study Visit (17-08-09)

12/08/2009

The first study visit organised by the Rural Network for Northern Ireland took place on Wednesday August 12th. Photos of the visit are available to view in the homepage. During the day the attendees visited woodland established adjacent to the Navan Centre, Armagh; heard about the work of Glen Tender, an award winning brand of Aberdeen Angus Beef and travelled to visit The Lodge, Castlewellan, a renovated mansion house now available for community use. Each project had been previously supported under the NI Rural Development Programme. Further details of the study visit along with a copy of the presentation as delivered by Glen Tender are available as Downloads within the members section of this website. Further study visits are planned and will be listed within the members section of this website so keep watching!
