Find out more about the UK National Rural Network

25/06/2010

The Rural Network for Northern Ireland is part of a wider UK National Rural Network, along with counterparts in Scotland, England and Wales.

The UK National Rural Network (UK NRN) has been set up to help support the delivery of the 4 rural development programmes in the United Kingdom. It links the individual networks of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales enabling practice and expertise to be shared and exchanged within the 4 UK regions. A key component of this structure, which enables a sharing of practice is the UK National Rural Network website. This site offers one central location to view news at a European, UK, and regional level providing updates on what is happening within the Rural Development Programme. It also offers access to publications and an extensive projects database, providing details on projects funded across the UK under the Programme, offering visitors the opportunity to check out what projects have been supported elsewhere with the potential to generate ideas or create links. Log onto www.uknationalruralnetwork.org.uk for further information.
