Calling all women to the Focus Farm Programme

Calling all women who are actively involved in farm businesses in Counties Armagh, Down and Tyrone.
DARD is seeking applications from Beef, Sheep and Organic farms to become part of the Focus Farm Programme in identified areas of Counties Armagh, Down and Tyrone.
The Focus Farm programme appoints Focus Farmers to demonstrate good farming practice, modern technology, innovative farm methods and on-farm research through farm walks, discussion and follow-up mentoring. There are currently 55 existing Focus Farmers and the programme is proving popular with over 8,000 visitors to date.
Applications are welcome from women either as head or partners in the farm business or also involved in the training delivery as Focus Farmers.
